I had a comment asking about the golf tournament, so here goes...
It poured rain as soon as we got to our first hole. We decided to see if we could last until 11am (2 hrs) before going back to the club house - none of us were there to really play golf, it was just to socialize, so what was the point in being uncomfortable all day for something we really didn't even care about. We did four holes then headed back. We all had were smart enough to bring a change of clothes, shoes, etc., so we dried off and played cards in the bar. And we were not the only people to call it quits, either.
I won another fleece pullover for my husband and some golf balls for him, too. Any time I go to any work function, trade show, convention - I always come back with stuff geared towards men or XL in size (like this one). He was waiting at the door for me to see what I got him, too. I tired to switch with another guy who won a muffin maker but he was scared that his wife would find out - that is so pathetic...something else that is pathetic is the fact that I had ticket 401 and the winning ticket for the ipod was 400...I am not joking either. Some little old guy won it...that and an overnight stay at the Delta...that topped off my lovely day in the rain.
Sunday I didn't leave the house. I watched "Entourage" on DVD - what a great show....better than I expected it to be.
And here it is Tuesday and I am about to put a frozen pizza in the oven and watch Coronation Street. In Canada, we are at the Christmas episode. I am such a loser that I have read ahead on itv about what happens the next couple of months. I totally ruined it for myself but I still enjoy watching it.

Wow, your husband is some lucky guy- too bad the lazy thing wouldn't cook for you so you didn't have to exist on frozen pizzas- the least he could do is take you on a nice trip somewhere warm and sunny...
Anonymous - yeah, really! The lazy ass sits home all day except for going to the travel agent to get brocheurs for resorts and put them all around the house...just to torment me!
Hey Steve - frozen pizza's have come a long way the last few years...a delicious, easy meal for under $5 (I only buy them when they are on sale). I live with picky eaters so I really don't have a lot of options!
You are so not a loser. You are a kind lady to give your husband your winnings. :)
PS Rain sucks
I'd have to say that I agree with you 100%. You might like this golf shoes golf site that I came across. Thanks again for your insight.
